Bids will be received until 2:00 p.m. on the 22 nd day of August, 2024, at the City of Athens, 508 E. Tyler St., Athens, TX 75751. The bids will be opened and read aloud at 2:00 p.m. on the 22 nd day of August, 2024, at the 508 E. Tyler St., Athens, TX 75751. The project consists of a base bid for 640 LF of 8? C-900 DR 18 PC 235 PVC waterline, 395 SY of HMAC pavement repair, 7 service connections, and other miscellaneous items of construction. An alternate bid for 539 LF of 8? C-900 DR 18 PC 235 PVC waterline, 300 SY of HMAC pavement repair, 4 service connections, and other miscellaneous items of construction will also be included.
